  The Manticore was designed in collaboration with Scotty’s friend J. Palicke, who is an EE, circuit designer, as well as a computer engineer. Having owned and played many “Man Horsies” over the last 20 years, Scotty has taken a very good overdrive, improved it, and made it his own.

  The Manticore is one of the most unique and versatile overdrives on the market today and puts an end to all the KLONE wars in the pedal market today! It can span everything from full drive tones, to clean “always-on” tones, as well as the perfect edge-of-breakup gain that so many guitar players love. Manticore Control Layout:

• Level --- Volume
• Treble --- Active and dynamic treble circuit, that boosts or cuts treble, as well as adds or subtracts gain.
• Gain --- This is the overdrive control, which lets you dial in the amount of clipping from the overdrive section of the circuit.
• Drive --- A clean boost control that drives 4 active filter networks, including treble, high-mids, mids, and lows. Using this knob to dial in a clean boost enhances the sound of your amp that adds fattness and richness to your tone.
