Its familiar American-shaped body is built from lightweight sugar pine and armed with a pair of open-sounding TV Jones Classic humbuckers. Sugar pine delivers excellent resonance and balanced tone
Also known as Northern Pine, Sugar Pine is a common tonewood that was frequently used on vintage American guitars. This lightweight wood radiates a tone that's reminiscent of ash, but with tamer high-end frequencies. Pine is wonderfully resonant and ensures that your LsL Instruments La Perronita exhibits a great balance of brightness, warmth, and midrange pop.
TV Jones Classic pickups are packed with vintage character
TV Jones humbuckers imbue the LsL Instruments LA Perronita with a tone that harkens back to the '50s and '60s. These pickups produce a bright and open sound that's jangly on your highs with the kind of bite you'd normally associate with single-coil pickups. LsL Instruments builds great guitars - from the ground up
From necks and bodies all the way to pickguards, bridges, and neck plates, LsL crafts everything in house using high-quality handpicked materials. They hand-shape their necks to whatever you want, and their fingerboard radii are adjusted by hand with unparalleled accuracy. Frets are glued when inserted and then buffed and polished by hand. Nut slots are hand-cut and adjusted to three thousandths of an inch in height tolerance. Every guitar is finished with weather-checked nitrocellulose lacquer that creates a distressed look and brings out its tone. Built by hand from the ground up, LsL Instruments makes top-shelf guitars!
