To celebrate 40 years of iconic hard-rocking Kiss front man, Ibanez is issuing the Paul Stanley Signature PS1DM. Paul Stanley has been partnering with Ibanez for years on other signature guitars, but this one is a definite leap beyond past models, featuring top-notch tonewoods and detailed appointments. The PS1DM features a mahogany body, maple top, and 3-piece maple set-in neck with an ebony fingerboard — a tonewood profile selected by Stanley himself. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, a '59 at the neck and a Custom 5 at the bridge, gives this signature guitar the smoking-hot, rock and roll tone that Paul Stanley has been putting out with Kiss since the mid-'70s. Sweetwater will only be getting two of these incredible signature guitars, so move fast!

What better way to give the Paul Stanley Signature PS1DM the kind of bite and howl needed for a seminal rock and roll axe than a pair of Seymour Duncan custom humbuckers? The '59 neck pickup has been melting faces for years and is known as an industry standard for its PAF-style clean attack, fully rounded low end, and stellar sustain. Coupled with a Custom 5 at the bridge that has a reputation for taking the level to 11, with a smooth, even bass and treble output and scooped midrange, this duo truly gives you the kind of high-octane, hard rock sound Paul Stanley is known for.




One-of-a-kind neck
The PS1DM also features a 3-piece maple set-in neck with a bound ebony fingerboard that is just pure, smooth, rock and roll playability in your hands. The 22 medium frets have been treated with the Prestige fret edge treatment, so their response and feel are smooth and comfortable.
