Do you remember the first time you tried fuzz and wah together? What a magical pairing it is. Hendrix used to use them both to great effect, and the effects world is better for it. What if you could combine both these effects into one box? And what if that box wasn’t as big as ad a small child? It’s a match made in heaven! This is the Magnetic Effects Double Feature.
The pedal is so named because it features a healthy dose of dirt on one side and a fixed (“cocked”) wah on the other. The dirt side features an op-amp distortion pummeling a germanium fuzz for a thick, gooey mass of dirt that will satisfy any dirt purist. Featuring standard Volume, Tone, and Gain controls, it’s truly a force to be reckoned with.
The other side contains a fixed wah circuit with one control: Sweep. This allows you to get a selective frequency boost for some amazing lead and rhythm tones when used separately, and an amazing dirt-filter combo when used together.
