Taylor XXXV-GS-W Walnut Grand Symphony 35th Anniversary Acoustic-Electric Guitar

A practical design with beautiful tonewoods, meticulous craftsmanship, and integrated electronics.

An edge bevel on the bass side of this guitar's lower bout blends a practical design function—a comfortable armrest for one's picking arm—with elegant contouring that offers unique aesthetic appeal. Inspired in part by the work of renowned luthier Grit Laskin, the armrest highlights the beautiful Taylor XXXV-GS-W Walnut Grand Symphony 35th Anniversary acoustic-electric guitar. This Taylor guitar showcases walnut wood for the back and sides, offering warm, deep tone, balanced projection, and clarity, in a stunningly complex appearance. The wood set was specially selected for its unique aesthetic qualities, making for an extremely limited run. The Taylor XXXV-GS-W acoustic-electric guitar also features a Sitka spruce top with Taylor's tone-enhancing CV bracing, an abalone rosette, Gotoh tuners, a bone nut and saddle, and the Expression System pickup. The Taylor guitar includes an ebony armrest, ebony binding, and a Florentine cutaway. When it comes to live performance, most players agree that the sound you hear from your "plugged in" guitar isn't always the same as its unplugged or native sound. Using new magnetic pickup technology similar to a microphone, however, The Expression System changes all that. With the ES, you get pure, high-fidelity acoustic amplification for a natural live sound. The Taylor ES delivers an amplified tone that will satisfy the most demanding pro player, yet makes it simple for anyone to plug in and sound great. Taylor proudly celebrates 35 years of guitar-making with its most eclectic and exotic collection of limited editions ever. The Taylor XXXV-GS-W acoustic-electric guitar and all 35th anniversary models feature a commemorative "35" fretboard inlay, come with a custom label, and include a certificate of authenticity.
