And this being a custom instrument, Taylor took the opportunity to ornament the GAce with a special caramel-colored curly koa soundhole rosette with matching binding, back mini wedge, fingerboard inlays, and headstock backstrap.

The flawless Lutz spruce soundboard Taylor chose for this guitar is stiffer than Sitka spruce, with characteristics that resemble Sitka, white spruce, and Engelmann spruce for different applications - most notably a strong fundamental with powerful projection and a clear top end. The GAce borrows its special CV bracing from Taylor's top of the line: the 900 series.
