This is a Blackguard Flat '52 Set from Bare Knuckle with an unaged bridge pickup bobbin with a nickel cover on the neck. The Blackguard Tele Series from Bare Knuckle was created after meticulous resaerch to replicate some of the classic Telecaster winds. The Flat '52 set is based off of a short period of time in 1952 when both bridge and neck coils were wound with 42AWG plain enamel. This produces a brighter sound in the bridge and an almost Strat-like sound in the neck. This set uses a slightly thinner copper plated steel baseplate which was introduced in late '51 and stays with a flat profile magnet design and deep drawn neck cover, producing tight snap in the bass, and full on twang.
