Cast bronze cymbals for premium tone and projection
K Custom Hybrid cymbals are individually poured and cast from raw molten metal that comprises Zildjian's guarded B20 bronze alloy. Each casting is cooled and sorted by model and weight. Castings are then put through a complex sequence of heating, rolling, shaping, hammering, and lathing techniques unique to each cymbal range. The resulting Zildjian K Custom Hybrids have a rich, full-bodied sound that improves with age - a sound that drummers the world over, including we at Sweetwater, swear by.
