So here is a Limited Edition where we tuned them just how Jake digs his.The main engine is one if the rarest sacred pieces of germanium on the planet-- a 1959 Mullard Silver OC44.This is the last hundred of these transistors that we know of in existence. The character of distortion is pure classic harmonic bliss. Baked up in a polished aluminum enclosure with black diamond etched aluminum knob and hand made in Detroit.
There are three settings- high, mid and low. These allow you to tune the overall body of the tone fuller or more mid-forward. Known as an 'Always On' pedal, the Rangemaster is one of the first overdrive pedals ever and has been used by Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May, Marc Bolan and many more in acheiving thee sound of rock-n-roll guitar.
