Made with the same combination of an Alder body, Maple neck that will never go out of style this strat has the same beautiful crisp and clear sound that we have become accustomed to. The neck has been carved to a modern 'C' profile that is neither thick nor thin and is just simply comfortable for pretty much any style of playing.
New Revolutionary Electronics
There are a few things that have kept the Stratocaster relevant throughout its long life. The quality, the versatility, the customizability and the revolutionary new features. This guitar is just as good quality, just as versatile and just as customizable as every before and of course there has to be some new innovation.
This year the revolution comes from the Time Shaw designed humbucking pickup in the bridge position and how it is controlled. Normally when you mix humbucker and single coil pickups you either lose openness on the humbucker or that special sparkle in the single coils. Fender however have come up with a volume pot that runs at both 500k and 250k so no matter what pickup you are on you get the best possible sound.
This new humbucker is designed to perfectly match the vintage tonal character that stratocasters are known for while still remaining nice and hot. No matter if you prefer a classic or modern sound the Shawbucker has a fantastic tone that will easily fit somewhere in to your rig. The single coil pickups are the same Custom Shop Fat 50s that have been on the strat for a couple of years and they do not disappoint.
Comes with a great Fender Hard Case that's just perfect for protecting such an exquiste guitar.
