Two instrument/microphone combo inputs on the front panel enable you to quickly and easily connect mics, guitars, basses, and more. Six balanced mic/line inputs grace the rear of the unit. The SERIES 8p Dyna includes +48V phantom power for your condensers, and with 52dB of gain on tap, it performs admirably with all but the most gain-hungry of vintage and modern microphones.





Expand your interface and connect to pretty much anything
The SERIES 8p Dyna is a great way to expand your existing audio interface, thanks to its dual S/MUX optical outputs. Thanks to these ports, you can pipe all eight of the SERIES 8p Dyna’s channels into your live or recording rig at up to 96kHz (four channels at 176.4kHz or 192kHz). You also get eight line-level analog outputs — on both balanced TRS connectors and balanced 25-pin D-sub connectors — for routing signals to A/D converters, recording mixers, front-of-house consoles, and pretty much everything else.


Packed with loads of pro-level features
The TASCAM SERIES 8p Dyna includes a useful array of pro-level features. Word clock I/O BNC connectors, with an in/out/thru switch, enables you to synchronize the SERIES 8p Dyna with your digital gear — without the pops, dropouts, and other unwanted artifacts. Front-panel analog overload indicators, compression indicators, and digital peak and level meter bars, make monitoring the device’s performance a piece of cake.
