This USA-Made Adamas 2098-GCF is Ovation's impressive take on the carbon fiber/graphite acoustic guitar. These materials are much more robust than ordinary tonewoods, but Ovation makes sure that they are still tonally equal or superior to any all-wood counterpart, starting with the unidirectional carbon-graphite suspended soundboard. "Suspended Top" technology lets the top vibrate more freely, which translate to a bold and clear voice. Other features include a Deep Contour back, figured maple neck with ebony fretboard, OP Pro Studio preamp with Black OCP1 pickup, Sperzel Sound-Lok tuners, and quintad spruce braces. The Black Burst finish compliments the patterned carbon fiber very nicely as well.
