The cutaway 410ce-R marries the classic dreadnought body style with modern Taylor refinements to create an inspiring playing experience. Re-voiced for 2016 with new architecture features solid ovangkol which shares rosewood’s full-spectrum tonal range, with a slightly fuller, throaty midrange and a bright, focused top end. Pickers and strummers will love the blend of power and articulation, allowing you to fully dig in, along with Taylor’s sleek, playable necks. Fresh aesthetic touches include white binding, Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, a three-ring rosette, and an all-gloss body, while the onboard Taylor Expression System 2 pickup and preamp deliver a smooth plug-and-play experience. The guitar ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.Sitka SpruceThe most commonly used wood for guitar tops, Sitka generates a broad dynamic range and accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking.OvangkolAn African relative of rosewood, ovangkol shares many of rosewood’s tonal properties, including a wide spectrum from lows and highs. Differences include a slightly fuller midrange and a bright treble response resembling that of koa.Expression System 2Taylor’s breakthrough acoustic pickup marks a major advance in piezo technology thanks to a patented behind-the-saddle design. The unique placement of three piezo sensors captures a more dynamic range of acoustic sound and responds well in a variety of settings.
