Like some of the most classic Telecasters in history, the Fender Limited Edition Parallel Universe American Elite Nashville Telecaster's body is crafted from beautiful ash. Known for its big lows and chiming highs, ash injects this Tele with plenty of twang. Unlike vintage Teles, the Parallel Universe Tele features expertly executed contours on the top, back, and heel. The guitar's performance-driven features extend to the neck in a big way. The back of the neck sports a compound C to D profile that ensures you have plenty to get your hands on, while never interfering with your playing. Versatile electronics package
Even with the customizations to the Fender Limited Edition Parallel Universe American Elite Nashville Telecaster's neck and body, it's the guitar's unique pickup layout that will strike you first. By shifting the guitar's Pure Vintage '64 Tele pickups to the neck and middle position, Fender was able to install their clear and powerful-sounding Shawbucker humbucker in the bridge. As if that weren't enough, the Fender S1 switch — conveniently located in the guitar's tone knob — opens up access to even more pickup combinations.
