Music Store Live is proud to present this G&L ASAT 35th Anniversary Classic Bluesboy! The Bluesboy adds warmth and depth to unmistakable ASAT and Tele-style comfort and clarity. With a clean tone, you can pull all kinds of twang out of this axe, but unlike a lot of single coil bolt-on Tele-style guitars, you can just as easily get thick, rich, and creamy tones courtesy of the humbucker in the neck position. With some distortion, this guitar turns into the perfect axe for any kind of blues, rock or country. It thickens up and cuts through with a meaty, midsy punch, more than living up to its name. The neck is very round and comfortable, perfect for fast leads, chords and big bends. The MFD single-coil in the bridge provides a beefier, fattier, and more aggressive tone than your traditional bridge Tele pickup.This guitar represents some of the best American craftsmanship around and is incredibly versatile. The thinner original Leo spec body along with front and rear contours help make the guitar super comfortable to play for hours on end.


Item Details

The ASAT Classic Bluesboy 35th Anniversary combines classic bolt-on twang with humbucking warmth. This one has an Emerald Green Metallic finish on an alder body (with matching headstock). The hard rock maple neck is G&L's Modern Classic C shape, and it has a beautiful rosewood fretboard with white pearl dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The satin vintage tint finish on the neck lets the maple breath and feels natural under your hands while providing that slightly yellowed and "aged" look to the neck and headstock. The nut is bone, which means you won't get those annoying pops or clicks while tuning. Electronically, this guitar has a G&L MFD ASAT Classic single-coil in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker in the neck. This is a great take on the ASAT, and it's perfect for constant gigging, recording, and practicing. This particular one is a special 35th Anniversary edition to celebrate G&L's long history of being one of the most innovative guitar companies out there while still paying homage and staying true to the tradition and classic sounds that have gotten the electric guitar to where it is today. The Original Leo Spec body is slightly thinner than a traditional ASAT body. Celebrate G&L's storied history with this 35th Anniversary ASAT!
