Custombucker pickups deliver a staggering range of tone
Gibson Custom paid just as much attention to the Les Paul Standard Rock Top's electronics as they did to its aesthetics. This axe is fitted with a pair of Custombucker pickups plus CTS pots, a Switchcraft toggle switch, and a handwired harness. These pups will power everything from spanky single-coil rhythms to fat, blistering leads.




Real-deal nitrocellulose lacquer finish
The Gibson Custom Les Paul Standard Rock Top wears a gorgeous nitrocellulose lacquer finish that gives the guitar a timeless, classic look. Nitro finishes — standard back in the '50s and '60s — are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to "breathe."
