John Landgraff Mo-D Distortion Pedal #745





The legendary John Landgraff "Mo-D" has been one of the most revered boutique guitar pedals ever built. John and Rose personally hand-built each and every Landgraff pedal from 1999 until John's passing in May of 2015. Today, Rose continues the tradition of building hand wired, point to point, socketed circuit boards, that permit her to voice each and every pedal, resulting in a consistency of performance not achievable by most other "boutique" builders using printed circuit boards.



This pedal gets into more of a fuzz type distortion with gain all the way up. The controls are simple; left knob is gain, middle is tone, and right is volume. The 3-way switch in the down position yields a symetrical (smooth) distortion. The up position gives you an asymetrical (more bite & clarity) distortion. The middle position bypasses the clipping diodes so you can use the pedal for more of a boost. The battery is already in the unit so it's ready to plug in and play! The pedal uses the standard 9-volt boss or ibanez adapter.



All Landgraff pedals are hand painted by renowned pedal box painter, Arlon Prince, internationally known swirl artist, Darren Johannson (Fender "Bowling Ball" Strats/Teles and Ibanez limited edition Steve Vai "JEM's") or renowned repairman/inventor/painter, Frank Whetstine!
