Designed in conjunction with Tom Erbe (Soundhack), the Make Noise Morphagene uses Reels, Splices, and Genes to morph existing sounds into new sonic visions — let your mind and your ears wander as far and wide as you desire. The Morphagene's foundation is in Musique Concréte — speed and direction variation joined with innovative tape splicing — and Microsound which represents the digital division of sound into pieces smaller than 1/10 of a second. To keep it simple, the combination of these two worlds means a nearly limitless output of rhythm and tonal variation.
