Full 24.75" scale
This solidbody electric guitar doesn't know how small it is. The LTD EC-1 carries a full 24.75" scale length but is easily streamlined enough to travel with you in even the most cramped situations. You won't have to worry about trying to adjust to a smaller feel or narrower fret spacing. And the detachable armrest keeps you from noticing that you're playing such a compact instrument. Full-size active humbucking pickup
Tonally, as with the full-scale design, the LTD EC-1 is much bigger than it seems. Like many of ESP's full-size designs, the EC-1 electric guitar is ready to sing with an active humbucking pickup that delivers full, warm, and aggressive tones. The humbucker has enough output to easily drive a dirty amp into harmonically rich distortion. But its voice is wonderful for full-bodied cleans with plenty of top-end sparkle. There are no tonal compromises with this professional-sounding instrument.
Powerful onboard amplifier
Not near your favorite guitar amplifier but still need to play? No problem. The LTD EC-1 has Traveler's onboard headphone preamplifier. This amp not only sounds great, but it carries features like an aux input for jamming to your favorite tracks as well as clean-boost, overdrive, and distortion settings for a complete tonal range. Everyone at Sweetwater was impressed with how good it sounds! Sitting right next to your favorite guitar amp? Even better. Run a standard guitar cable out of the 1/4" jack into your amp and play.
