Flagship Synth of the Make Noise Records Shared System Series
The Make Noise Black & Gold Shared System Plus is the favorite Eurorack modular system of Make Noise founder Tony Rolando — it's also the exact set of modules used by all artists for the Make Noise Records Shared System Series. It was masterfully used by both Alessandro Cortini and Richard Devine for their performances at the 2012 Make Noise opening party. And now you can add it to your synthesizer rig. Complete with 11 modules in a 7U case with lid and power supply, plus 30 Ad Infinitum patch cables, the Make Noise Black & Gold Shared System Plus is a powerhouse Eurorack synthesizer.

Rene Cartesian Sequencer Module
This unique sequencer eschews linearity in favor of an infinite grid of possibilities based on Reneé Descartes's Cartesian coordinate system. Like any classic analog sequencer, René features 16 steps, each with an associated note-tuning knob. But that's where the similarities end. Instead of operating sequentially, René re-imagines steps as coordinates on a grid, allowing it to move in new and imaginative ways. Tailor-made for live performance, René's editing is executed in real-time without complicated menus or excessive data input.

TEMPI Polyphonic Time-shifting Module
The Tempi Polyphonic Time-shifting Clock Module is a six-channel clock divisor/multiplier that will let you shift tempo with polyphony to just about any rate you choose. You get the choice of either human or machine programming to for re-creating classic clock divisor or multiplier arrangements or creating new ones. The Tempi also lets you store up to 64 clock/timing scenarios (called states) for later recall, using control signals from your system or the Tempi's Select bus. There are six large illuminated channel buttons for programming channels one through six (Tap Tempo, basically), and the two smaller Program A (PGM A) and Program B (PGM B) buttons are used for dividing and multiplying clock, respectively. A center bank LED reveals the current bank by color, and State changes are indicated by the flashing LED of each channel button.

Pressure Points Touch Controller/Sequencer Module
Pressure Points is an analog sequencer that you play with your fingers. Tapping its gold-plated copper touch plates generates gate signals that provide tactile control over your patch. Use the touch plates to turn portions of a patch on or off, generate timing events within a patch, or trigger a function generator. Your fingers also generate control signals that correspond to the amount of pressure you apply, so you can add expressive pitch or timbre variations to your patch. Use the three tuned voltages to play pitch in a traditional melodic fashion, or program chords or timbral shifts.

DPO Voltage Controlled Oscillator Module
DPO stands for Dual Primary Oscillator — thus named because both of its VCOs are operable as complex signal sources that can control one another. The DPO module is designed for both complex waveform sourcing and fast live sound creation, with functions intuitively grouped for expediting complex patching. VCO A generates triangle, saw, and sine waves, and VCO B can produce sine, square, and Final (or wave-shaped) oscillations. The DPO has dedicated FM and mod buses, each with its own index unipolar control, index bipolar attenuator, and index CV input.

Echophon Pitch-shifting Echo Module
The Echophon Pitch-shifting Echo Module is inspired by the vintage Springer Temphophon. Like the Tempophon, the 20HP Echophon is a delay/echo generator, but it benefits from DSP engineered by one of America's top modular gurus, Soundhack's Tom Erbe. Along with standard features like input, output, delay time (Echo), and feedback controls, the Echophon also gives you clock input (Tempo) and clock output for synchronized delay. But the heart of the Echophon is comprised of the large Pitch (up or down two octaves) and Echo (7ms to 1.7 seconds) knobs in the center of the module, as well as the Freeze button that lets you achieve hold, stutter, and sampling techniques.

Maths Complex Function Generator Module
Essentially an analog computer designed for making music, Maths is laid out intuitively from top to bottom with channels one and four in functional near-symmetry. Channels one and four can scale, invert or integrate incoming signal, and channels two and three can scale, amplify, and invert the incoming signal. Even with no signal applied, all four channels of Maths can produce a wide spectrum of linear, logarithmic, and exponential functions.

Wogglebug Random Voltage Generator Module
Grant Richter is the brains behind the original Wogglebug random voltage generator, and it was a beautiful instrument in its original form. But Make Noise has redesigned Richter's creation with some powerful additions, including Influence In to the Ring Mod circuit, a random gate burst function, and direct injection of signal by way of the Ego In. Make Noise also put the Cluster circuit through a redesign, renaming it "Ego/Id" balance. The result is the most musical and playable random generator available — a unique Wogglebug that will become your synth's "Id monster."

Optomix 2-ch Low Pass Gate Module
As a two-channel Low Pass Gate, the Optomix provides simultaneous voltage control over amplitude and frequency content of a signal. At its core, the Optomix is a Voltage Controlled Filter Amplifier (VCFA) that exhibits a highly organic response to control signals. The Low Pass Gate on the Make Noise Optomix has all the earmarks of a vintage West Coast synthesis circuit, giving you endless options for creating really cool sounds in conjunction with other modules in your Eurorack.

ModDemix Modulator Module
The Make Noise modDemix gives you two identical, direct-coupled, balanced modulator circuits for solo or combined use, letting you employ amplitude modulation (and derivatives of AM) to achieve ring mod, VCA, mixing, signal mult, VC polarization, attenuation of the incoming signal, and more. Each circuit features signal input, carrier/CV input, four LED indicators, a Strength control, and signal output. The Strength knob functions as a standard panel control with nothing patched in; when signal is patched in, it becomes your attenuator, letting you control modulation intensity.

Morphagene Sample Manipulation Module
Morphagene is a next-level Tape and Microsound music module. The Make Noise Morphagene uses Reels, Splices, and Genes to morph existing sounds into new sonic visions — let your mind and your ears wander as far and wide as you desire. The Morphagene's foundation is in Musique Concréte — speed and direction variation joined with innovative tape splicing — and Microsound which represents the digital division of sound into pieces smaller than 1/10 of a second.

Erbe-Verb Continuously Variable Reverb Module
The Erbe-Verb Eurorack Reverb Module gives you voltage control (as well as an onboard control knob) over every parameter, letting you find the "notes between the notes" by modifying the reverb algorithm or manually sweeping various parameters — and it gives you the option of manual or VC Reverse reverb. You also get control over absorption, internal modulation depth, and speed, as well as tilt (bass/treble emphasis) and pre-delay parameters. But the greatest feature (and the largest knob) is Size, an incredibly dynamic control which lets you dial in exactly the room size you're seeking, for everything from unrealistically tiny to fantastically enormous reverb.
