With a single 12" driver housed in a 6th order bandpass birch enclosure, the KS112 portable subwoofer delivers the deep, rich bass audiences crave. Subwoofers have a reputation for being heavy and cumbersome, especially for one person. Weighing just over 62 lb., the KS112 is remarkably lightweight, and is especially ergonomic. Thanks to the comfortable grab handles built into its sides, and the built-in, smooth-rolling casters, you'll be shocked at how easy this little powerhouse is to maneuver and load by yourself.The proof is, of course, in the pudding, and the KS112 powered subwoofer delivers a healthy serving of tight, accurate bass. Onboard DSP provides variable crossover and savable/recallable scenes for commonly-used applications. Meanwhile, Intrinsic Correction tuning and loudspeaker management maximizes performance and protects the subwoofer’s components. With 2,000 watts of peak Class-D amplification on tap, the KS112 has more than enough power to keep up with the K.2 Series loudspeakers and round out your sound system with proper low-end reinforcement. Two M20 threaded pole receptacles provide a positive, wobble-free connection to a threaded speaker pole in either vertical or horizontal deployment. An optional KS-LOC security cover prevents unauthorized tampering of controls. Rugged, low-noise casters are included. Musicians, bands, mobile DJs, system integrators and AV rental/production professionals alike will appreciate the performance of the KS112 in a wide variety of applications – particularly when paired with TouchMix Series mixers, further optimizing KS Series performance, or as a complement to K.2 Series loudspeakers.
