The J-45 Vine Koa Limited Edition combines the worlds best-selling acoustic model with the desired characteristics of tropical koa. This hardwood has the sought-after tone characteristics of warmth and brightness, as well as a striking appearance. This custom shop J-45 has a solid Sitka spruce top with abalone trim and rosette, and a solid AAA flamed koa back and sides. It offers some of the best decorative work in the industry with a stunning mother-of-pearl flowerpot vine inlay across the entire fingerboard.This Gibson J-45 aso features an antique natural lacquer finish that will help the tone to mature with age, gold-engraved tuners and L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup system. Its dovetail neck-to-body joint which is hand-fitted and secured with hide glue ensures unequalled resonance transfer from the strings to the body, and the radiused body has increased projection and clarity.
