The Behringer Ultra Flanger UF300 2-Mode Effects Pedal is a flexible, dual-mode effects pedal for electric guitarists and bass players featuring 2-Flanger modes. Guitarists can adjust between classic and detuned Flanger effects. There are four fully adjustable easy-access function control knobs. The UF300 is equipped with an arsenal of familiar sweeping sounds and chorus-like effects that include jet-plane, thick chorusing, vibrato and short delays.FlangingThe Flanger effect was originally generated by playing back two synchronized "reel to reel" tape recorders, with a finger rubbing on the flange of one of the take-up reels. This slowed down the playback on one machine, causing the output signal to become out of phase with the original, as well as slightly lower in pitch. When the two tape machines were played back together and recorded on a 3rd, the art of flanging was born.Two Flangers in OneThe UF300 offers two modes of operation: Mode I with its negative feedback and Mode II for positive feedback. In Mode I, the signal is inverted before it is mixed with the original. Because Mode II doesn't invert the signal, the resulting sound is more out of tune with the original, making the UF300 ideal for vibrato-style effects.Easy to UseTweak either mode with the dedicated Manual, Depth, Rate and Resonance controls. The blue LED tells you when it's activated and the first-rate on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode.
