When Plush introduced the Plush Cream a number of guitar players bought more than one. When Plush asked why, they explained that they set one for a great rhythm crunch, and the second for a screaming lead tone. Plush has gone beyond solving that problem in the Extreme Cream pedal, which gives you two 3-knob channels. One is voiced like the stock Cream. The second is voiced warmer, all under one hood. A simple A/B switch and a simple On/Off switch make operating the Plush Extreme Cream overdrive a breeze. In addition to the selected Integrated circuits, Plush carefully chose each resistor and capacitor voicing the Extreme Cream to be quiet, and smooth yet articulate, and dynamic. Both channels respond well to both picking strength and guitar volume, and, best of all, the Extreme Cream gives you feel like a tube amp. The gain control takes you from a mild edge to the hardest scream. The tone control takes you from a warm "woman tone" to a screaming lead tone with just the right amount of sparkle. Like other Plush pedals, the Extreme Cream has: a cast aluminum housing, industrial powder coat finish, heat cured silk screen labeling, true bypass, Cliff switch, Neutrik connectors, metal shaft controls, premium boutique quality passive components selected for tone, mil spec fiberglass 2-sided circuit board construction for consistent long term performance, and a 5-year warranty.
