Clean, harmonic-laden tones for every situation
Tim Marcus of Milkman Sound built the Loud is More Good for JHS’s Josh Scott because he knew that Josh had an affinity for clean, 6L6-loaded American-style amplifiers, like the JHS founder’s go-to blonde combo. Knowing what excellent pedal platforms these types of amps make, we couldn’t wait to run the Loud is More Good through its paces here at Sweetwater. We subjected it to all kinds of sonic stress tests, and found that it sounds great no matter what you plug into it. Various guitar and pedal combinations yielded the same result — killer sound. Even plugging straight in sounded amazing, producing a clean, harmonic-laden tone that was instantly gratifying.






Hand-built using top-grade materials
The Loud is More Good was hand-built top to bottom, using only high-grade materials. This brute includes a 12AX7 preamp tube, 12AX7 phase inverter, and dual 6L6 output tubes that thrust 40 watts of muscular tone through an 8-ohm, 50W Jupiter ceramic magnet speaker. The amp boasts 1/8-inch Garolite turret board, US-made cloth wire, modern audio taper pots, Jupiter capacitors, and Mercury Magnetics transformers for maximum tone and rock-solid reliability. The Loud is More Good has negative grid bias with an adjustment point behind the JHS logo on the underside of its durable aluminum chassis. Beyond that, everything is packed into a solid, all-pine cabinet.
