Despite its name, the Reverend Warhawk II 390 is not just a cutting edge rock guitar; its versatility and tonality extend well beyond a defined genre with a plethora of sounds and sonic landscapes at its fingertips. The Reverend Warhawk II 390 features a solid Korina body with a raised center section for improved clarity and sustain as well as increased resonance. The triple Reverend P-90's bring a unique voice to this guitar with grind and grit as well as warm, smooth tone and with the 5-way pickup selector the tonal possibilities are boundless. The bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter than a vintage soapbar while the middle and neck pickups are slightly cleaner, they are all three calibrated for tone and output. The Reverend Warhawk II 390 also features Reverend's proprietary Bass Contour control that allows the pickups to be re-voiced for vintage soapbar tones as well as some single coil sparkle. The combination of this and the Tone and Volume controls gives maximum versatility making the Reverend Warhawk II 390 a fantastic instrument for any genre.
