Sweetwater's guitar gurus regularly visit the Wood Library to hand select the woods for exclusive, limited-edition Sweetwater-spec'd guitars. This PRS Wood Library Custom 24 features a lightweight, resonant mahogany body, a gorgeous Artist-grade flamed maple top, a supremely playable Pattern Thin figured mahogany neck capped by a slick-playing cocobolo fingerboard graced with exquisite J-Bird inlays, and a pair of sweet-sounding TCI-tuned 85/15 humbuckers. Vintage-modern TCI-tuned 85/15 humbucking pickups
Paul retooled his original 1985 pickups to bring the sweet harmonics and chunky warmth of this classic design to this Wood Library Custom 24 — but with modern output and articulation for today’s players and gear. Each set of pickups has been ear-tuned to perfection by Paul and his team, a process known as Tuned Capacitance and Inductance (TCI). The end result is a very musical pickup that’s true to its lineage but updated for the modern player. Routed through 5-way switching, this potent sonic elixir provides you with the tonal dexterity to ace any live gig or recording session.


Pattern Thin neck shape for that just-right feel
Why does this Wood Library Custom 24 feel "just right" when you pick it up? This guitar has an updated wide thin neck carve PRS calls the Pattern Thin shape. For legions of guitarists, the Pattern Thin neck adheres to the Goldilocks principle: not too big, not too small — which makes it perfect for speed pickers and players with average-to-smaller hands.
