This is a very special guitar. It has everything I love about G&L's ASAT Classic Bluesboy - the perfect blend of warmth and twang, a cozy neck, great hardware - but with totally unique, hand-engraved artwork on the body. G&L only released 20 of these guitars, and we're thrilled that we got our hands on one. The roses you see on the body were meticulously hand-etched into the top by respected guitar artist Johnny Garcia. There isn't much else like it.
In terms of tone, feel and playing experience, this is the same unmistakable ASAT Bluesboy that we love. The sound walks the perfect line between humbucking warmth and single coil twang, and the neck is easy to navigate in every position. Dial it in for blues, rock, jazz, country - this is a musical chameleon of an instrument that's up for just about anything.








Special Features

This guitar features an ash body with hand-engraved artwork by Johnny Garcia. It's not painted or airbrushed on - it's carved right into the wood of the guitar, producing a beautiful effect that's never going to wear down or fade. The rest of the body has a simple satin finish that is smooth to the touch and doesn't leave fingerprints like gloss. The ASAT Classic Bluesboy combines classic bolt-on twang with humbucking warmth. The hard rock maple neck is G&L's classic C shape, and it has a rosewood fretboard with dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Electronically, this guitar has a G&L MFD ASAT Classic single-coil in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker in the neck, a perfect combination for clean shimmer and distorted richness. This guitar walks the line between one-of-a-kind collector's axe and electric workhorse ready for constant gigging, practicing and recording.
