This is one of the Prototype Custom Modern guitars for our exclusive Limited Edition Pro Series Run. We ordered a few of these as Customs to dial in the Pro Series specs. The Pro Series M7 from Suhr Guitars was already a great guitar and an exceptional value. The Guthrie Govan Signature model has long been one of the most Suhr popular models. What we did with our Make'n Music exclusive, Limited Edition Pro Series M5 and M7 models, was take the best specs from each of these configurations, customize them with some of our favorite specs- like a Mahogany Body and Neck- and dial them in to offer the most versatility and the best possible value.

The Suhr Modern Pro Series M7 Limited Edition from Make'n Music features some great specifications and this Custom Prototype is one of the guitars that started it all. The Flame Maple Top on a Mahogany Body and Mahogany Neck with Dark Indian Rosewood Fingerboard are nice appointments, giving this Suhr Modern the punchy, mid range tone it needs for Hard Rock, Metal, Fusion, and just about anything you can throw it's way. The pickups and electronics provide addtitional tonal versatility thanks to the Blower switch and H/S/H configuration. The M5's have a Floyd Rose trem while the M7's get a Gotoh 510. Both are recessed for maximum dive bomb / pull up, warble trem-antics. We think they look pretty good too!
