The 2016 Collection began with raw materials that inspire us and we designed each of the 100 instruments to enhance the essence and beauty of their components. The theme of the 2016 collection is “Beauty Meets Performance” The result is a collection of stunning guitars worthy of the most discriminating connoisseur. The 2016 Collection is available from select Suhr dealers.
The Macassar Ebony Modern features a black limba body and neck with an ornate Macassar Ebony top, accented with gold hardware.The 10”-14” compound Macassar Ebony fingerboard is complete with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, and a custom Koa inlay on the 12th fret. This collection guitar features brass side dots, a gold gotoh 510 bridge with steel block, along with Macassar Ebony accents including neck screws, knobs, tuning gears, and pickup covers for our all new Thornbucker+ pickups. Comes with a wood spec sheet, shipped in a deluxe hardshell case.
