Darkglass provides ready-made MIDI templates for a quick start with select gear, and users can dive deeper into explorations of the accompanying Darkglass Suite with nuanced sublayer programming and complex MIDI messaging. The footswitch includes a 7-pin MIDI cable for Darkglass equipment, but the MIDI port accepts 5-pin MIDI cables and can even pass external messages as a MIDI thru device.
