Oradea is a quadruple voltage-controlled resonator from XAOC Devices, bringing four stages of sound sculpting and filter-pinging fun to your Eurorack system. Four identical and independently adjustable frequency bands enable a wide range of patch applications, from sculpting and enhancing audio signals to creating plucky and tuneful tones. A single input is available for the filter bank, as well as onboard trigger inputs for pinging each band individually. Each band features a wide frequency range that spans the full scope of human hearing, with both manual adjustment and precise V/oct control. The resonance amount can be adjusted across a wide range as well, perfect for dramatic boosts to a single band or creating resonant pings with long decays.

 

Integrated VCAs for each band give you direct control over output amplitude, which along with the phase flip switches provides comprehensive control over this versatile quartet of filters. In addition to a summed output, each band is equipped with its own dedicated output, perfect for splitting a signal into distinct frequency bands for post processing, or independently addressing each filter while using them as sound sources. When paired with the Arad Resonator Commander expander module, individual inputs, mutes, and manual triggers are available, greatly expanding the already highly flexible nature of Oradea.
