Get the dancefloor moving with the kick drum voice, offering a classic implementation of sine wave oscillator, overdrive, and snappy envelope for amplitude and pitch modulation. Crack into a hard hitting back beat with the snare module, blending tonal and noisy elements to dial in decadent snap and sizzle. Drum 1 and Drum 2 modules reimagine vintage analog drum synths like the Pollard Syndrum, using a variable waveform oscillator and FM techniques to provide a versatile palette of percussive sounds. Create patterns in both live recording or step mode, with pattern lengths up to sixty-four steps. Additional generative tools let you create Euclidean patterns as well as complex algorithmic rhythms based on a core groove. Once you have a sequence you like, you can add quantization and humanization to dial in the feel, explore swung rhythms, and control all tracks live with mutes and other manipulations to create endless variation. With the onboard Song mode, Boom Chick can be the center of an entire live set, empowering expressive performances with rich analog beats and an intuitive interface.
