Samarkanda is a quad digital delay module from the legendary module designers at XAOC Devices. A comprehensive station for designing unique delays, Samarkanda contains 4 channels each with their own CV controllable inputs, including: Mix, Feedback amount, Hold, Reverse, Feedback Input, Sync, and Time. Each channel can be controlled and patched completely independently from each other using the Mix or Wet outputs, or link each channel together for quickly patching complex and layered multi-stage delays. These channels also have their own Behavior switch, letting you choose between two operating modes, Digital and Analog. Digital mode offers a granular buffer effect across the delay time range, allowing you to scrub through the buffered audio found within your delays in real-time. Analog provides pitch changes resembling classic analog tape BBD delays when the Time control is modified.

Samarkanda features a wide range of delay times, starting as short as 0.5ms, and going all the way up to 15 seconds per channel, with the ability to link each channel's delay times reaching up to a whole 60 seconds with all channels engaged. The internal lossless normalization combined with 24-bit AKM converters and 32-bit internal processing means the delay lines retain their crystal-clear fidelity as they fade into the background. Each channel also comes with a handy range switch, with x1, x10, and x100 ranges for quickly creating beautiful cascading delays.
