The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This Double Bound 60s Tele Relic is part of the Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP), built exclusively for Make'n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player's piece.

While these Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream thanks to a number of strategically chosen spec upgrades. This particular guitar is based on the vintage 60s Telecaster Custom with a lightly hand-distressed, Journeyman Relic finish package to replicate the look and feel of a well-worn vintage instrument! The neck is Quartersawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard and our custom MVP "Perfect C” profile, rolled edges, 1&11/16" nut width, flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Not only does it feel great, but adjustments are a breeze too, as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock. You no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak!

Additional features and upgrades include Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, a Fender Shawbucker Humbucker in the neck position and an Original Blackguard bridge pickup to ensure this Tele has plenty of spank and twang without any harsh, squawky qualities. Custom wiring with Dual 250k/500k volume pot ensure that both pickups play nicely together. The S1 tone control for coil split adds to the sweet, rich, delectable tone. Very Cool Indeed!
