There, the snare was sand-casted from a premium bell bronze alloy and machined into a 5mm-to-3mm-to-5mm hourglass contour from top-to-center-to-bottom. With bell bronze, you’ll find its slightly higher tin content to provide more balance in treble and midrange presence while maintaining that deeper and fatter low-end authority that makes bronze snares so special. The True-Cast Bronze snare measures 7 inches x 14 inches, offering a slightly deeper shell that helps enhance its presence and thunderous appeal. It’s quite possibly the best tonal blend you’ll find in a metal shell!
