But for the Footprint03, the team decided it was time to push the speaker’s design, performance, and quality further than ever. The result is a departure from Barefoot Sound’s sealed cabinet design in favor of a ported speaker for extended low-end response and minimal self-noise. Additionally, all three aluminum speaker cones sport a more powerful magnet and motor system for greater output, less compression, and a spacious soundstage.

Making its debut in the Footprint03, SPOC, or SPectrally Optimized Conversion, is a cutting-edge technology that integrates an analog crossover section before the analog-to-digital conversion process, allowing high frequencies to reach the converter without attenuation. ADVANCED DSP AND MEME TECHNOLOGY
