BASTL INSTRUMENTS KASTLE ARP

A melodic addition to the compact BASTL instrument family, the Kastle ARP is a teeny patchable synthesizer that generates inspiring and spontaneous arpeggiated tones. Rather than using a traditional arpeggiator, Kastle ARP features a pitch-quantized oscillator that can be modulated by the onboard LFO. Kastle ARP determines pitches based on connections to the Chord input section—by default, Kastle ARP will offer the timeless I-IV-V progression in the key of C, but these chords and keys may be changed in Boot Mode. Interesting note interactions can occur by exploring the Decay envelope's behaviors: turning to left means note changes will retrigger the envelope, but turning to the right will suppress new notes from being heard until the envelope ends. Additionally, you can morph between simple sine waves to chiptune-esque tones with the Timbre control and Mod inputs. Whether this is your first Kastle or you're rounding out the collection, Kastle ARP can bring surprising melodies to any assortment of instruments.
