LOW-GAIN ELECTRONICS VARIABLE FORCE GENERATOR

The Variable Force Generator from Low Gain Electronics is an FSR-based CV and gate generator that adds tactile and expressive control to your patches. Each channel has a force-sensing resistor that reads the amount of pressure exerted and outputs a proportional CV output.

Scale the CV output from 0–11V to fine-tune the output range. In addition to CV signals, the VFG outputs gate signals when you press down on the FSRs. These gate signals feature 5V, 8V, or 10V output levels, depending on your needs. Get your finger drumming on, or dynamically open filters and VCAs; the Variable Force Generator is an excellent tool for controlling your synths.
