LIVESTOCK ELECTRONICS LEAP

Leap from Livestock Electronics is an ADSR and LFO that is great for complex and interrelated modulation. The ADSR has controls for the attack, decay, sustain, release, and shape as well as attenuversion and DC offset. Each of the stages of the envelope can be CV controlled. The ADSR can also be looped. With the offset all the way up and the attenuverter in the negative portion, it creates a ducking envelope. With the press of a button, the module can switch between editing the parameters of the ADSR or the LFO. The LFO has control for frequency and phase/pulse width. Additionally, the ADSR is internally routed to modulate the LFO’s speed and amplitude; the decay and sustain sliders control the depth of the modulation. The LFO has six waveforms, sine, saw, triangle, variable triangle, square, and random. The LFO input can be set to be v/oct modulation or clock sync. The LFO and ADSR can be used to make a drum using the LFO at audio rate. With the LFO and ADSR working together, Leap provides a combo of powerful modulation.
