HIKARI INSTRUMENTS ATTEN/MIXER

Atten/Mixer from Hikari Instruments is a compact seven-channel mixer and utility module. In mere 8hp, the module is able to mix up to seven channels of audio and/or CV.

Clever normalization allows the user to divide the signals into two groups. Output 4 combines signals from channels 1-4, while the dedicated MixOut output is designed to blend all seven channels together when no patch cable is connected to the fourth output. If output 4 is occupied, then the MixOut sums the signals present in channels 5-7. This allows for a number of interesting routing options including stereo mixing and simultaneous mixing of groups of audio and control voltage signals. Additionally, channels 1-4 have dedicated mute switches, and also can be used as 0-5V voltage offsets with nothing patched to their inputs.
