One of the Tube Vitalizer’s core functions is a process that SPL refers to as “De-masking”, a feature that makes even the smallest elements of your sound loud and clear. Sweetwater studio experts find that the Tube Vitalizer’s “De-masking” process sorts out your sound, allowing each source in a mix to clearly stand out, without coming off as too busy. Vocals become clearer, instruments gain more detail, and the Tube Vitalizer wraps up your audio with a lively and transparent feel that simply makes every source sound more natural.

Psychoacoustics, audiometric research, patented filter networks — as complicated as the Tube Vitalizer might appear on paper, we were pleasantly surprised by its intuitive control layout and straightforward workflow! Five controls on the Tube Vitalizer do most of the heavy lifting — the drive control adjusts the level going into the Tube Vitalizer’s filter network, while the Bass control takes your low-end from a soft thump to a tight punch. The bass compressor knob gives you power over your low-end dynamics, and a coil filter (LC) button bolsters your bass with a strong, muscular tone. Hi-Mid Freq sets the level where you want frequencies above the cutoff to be boosted, while simultaneously taming the lower frequencies, and Process Level impacts the intensity of your Hi-Mid and Bass sculpting.
