Korg Nu:tekt NTS-2+ Monophonic DIY Synth Kit

The NTS-2: more than just an oscilloscope

Though branded as a 4-channel oscilloscope, the NTS-2 packs a few extra functions into its pint-sized enclosure to make it a must-have studio tool for the studio. A pair of stereo inputs allow for analysis of up to four sound sources at a time, with several display modes available and in full color courtesy of a clean and clear 2.8-inch LCD screen. Dive deeper into the NTS-2, and its FFT (Fast Fourier transform)/spectrum analyzer is sure to please — Sweetwater synthesists were elated to see a dedicated FFT onboard with a real-time spectrum analyzer, features normally found in external, expensive pieces of gear yet packaged perfectly in the NTS-2. In addition, the NTS-2 doubles as a fully functional wave generator, with two oscillators pumping out sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, pulse, and noise waveforms, all of which are editable to match any setting or project. Rounding out the offerings is a tuner function, delivering the same incredible precision found in Korg tuners for decades.
