DPW Design SH-1 Spectral Enhancer

DPW DESIGN SH-1

The SH-1 from DPW Designs is a dynamically dependent spectral enhancer combined with a compressor/limiter. The top half drives the compressor before sending a signal into the Transient shaper, which has its signal augmented by the Trim knob. This lets you drive the signal hard but shape the transients for an open sounding distortion or transparent compression. Clean is the amount of unaffected signal that goes to our Mix output, Comp is the volume control for the direct feed from the compressor, Tail is the Clean minus upper harmonics produced by the Drive and Tran. In addition to the Mix output, direct outs for the Comp, Tran, and Tail are available for more precise shaping, An Aux input is present for combining an audio signal after the compressor, but before the Tran and Tail. Create unique stereo spreads by using the two inputs and four outputs in combination. Compact and filled with possibilities, the SH-1 is great for the sonic sculptor looking for more options to design their perfect atmosphere.
