Designed and crafted to the same high standards as the 1608, the Legacy AXS, and Vision consoles, API's 2448 is a dual-signal path, inline recording console offering an impressively robust feature set that includes Dual Inputs on each channel, Stereo Returns, and API's new cross-platform Final Touch fader automation system. The 2448 expands API's powerful range of world-class analog recording consoles and continues API's half century legacy of combining professional reliability and functionality with the inimitable warmth and punch of the API sound.

API — The Legendary American Console Company

No American console company is more iconic than API. Launched in 1968 by Saul Walker, Automated Processes Inc. began building quality consoles for broadcast applications. Soon, the company's products found favor with recording studios, and a string of industry-leading innovations (including the 500 Series module, the first VCA, computerized console automation, and more) followed.
