Anasounds FX Feed Me MK3 Fuzz Effects Pedal

For its mk3 version, the Feed Me moves into the FX Teacher range, for a DIY pedal to assemble yourself, or already assembled as you choose.

But there is more, the Feed Me FX Teacher introduces additional controls, to adjust the low frequencies for a thick fuzz, and the power supply voltage for a velcro fuzz or gated fuzz. All this while being able to come back to the sound of the original Feed Me!

The FX Teacher project allows you to go even further in your tone quest.

Indeed, you always have the easy-to-access front panel settings, they allow you to quickly adjust your pedal.

On the inside, you know our trimpots well, we’re definitely fans of them at Anasounds. They are very fine adjustments that offer a sound precision worthy of the creator.

But this time, on top of all that, we added terminal blocks! They allow components to be easily added and removed with a simple screwdriver. Like you ended up… creating your own pedal!

Potentiometers

FEED: the input level, for an incredible dynamic, or a self-oscillating fuzz when turned all the way up.

OUT: the output level, to hit the amplifier.

SMASH: allows to alter the supply voltage of the circuit, from 0 to 3.8V, when the CRACK mode is activated. For a brutal gated fuzz!

Toggle Switches

BASS: On the lower position, a wide-spectrum, deep and fat fuzz. On the upper position, the bass capacitor that you have placed on the terminal block, to cut more or less the basses and come back to the bright sound of the original model.

Terminal Blocks

CAPS: to screw in capacitors only. Depending on the capacitor chosen, the basses will be cut, for a more aggressive fuzz.

Trimpots

BIAS: affects the bias of the transistors, which is originally adjusted for an open and dynamic fuzz.

FUZZ: the gain of the fuzz, from creamy to raw fuzz tones.

Capacitors

• Bass switch down, a 220nF capacitor allows all the bass to pass through,
• for a massive and modern fuzz.
• Switch on the upper position, the capacitor mounted in the terminal block is selected.
• Originally a 6.8nF, for a typical bass cut of a vintage fuzz. You can also use:
• 7nF, for an aggressive and percussive fuzz
• 10nF, for a fuzz that fits perfectly into the mix
• 22nF, to bring back a few more bass.
