“It seems like we have been getting requests for an HSS model since we first released the Ashburn, so here it is! A lot of players want the clean chimey single-coil sounds of the Ashburn while playing rhythm parts, but really want the power of a humbucker when switching to lead parts. The Ashburn HSS has the Bloodline JP-1s in the neckand middle positions, and a special JP-2 humbucker in the bridge. The 5-position switch allows all the classic single-coil selections, while the tone control also features a push-pull switch to split the humbucker. A double-cutaway, solid body guitar custom designed by John Page to embody his Uniquely Familiar™ design aesthetic. Featuring an extremely comfortable medium “C” shaped grip, threaded bolt neck assembly for greater tone transfer, contoured heel for easier upper fret access, staggered tuners that eliminate the need for string trees, bass justified fret dots for greater visibility, and Bloodline® by John Page™ JP-2 Humbucker and (2) JP-1 single coil S-style pickups.
