The A640 is the flagship of Aviom's stable of industry-standard personal mixers. This 36-channel system yields you inspiring in-ear mixes with an incredible level of control, performance, and sonic fidelity. The Aviom A640 Personal Mixer includes a high-resolution multi-mix-view display, plus a customizable channel selection from up to 64 network channels. You also get comprehensive per-channel customization, along with One-Touch Ambience via network audio or the A640's internal microphone. A built-in intercom is included for effortless communication with your bandmates and crew, and you get easy archiving and recall of your mixer configurations via USB. The A640 also provides you with a full complement of analog and digital I/O, plus compatibility with other Aviom Personal Mixers.

Intuitive user interface

Here at Sweetwater, we're blown away by how easy it is to get around the A640. This personal mixer combines a robust mix engine with an intuitive user interface — you get all the power without the operating hassles. A high-color, multi-mix-view display provides you with at-a-glance confirmation of everything you need to know, and it makes editing a walk in the park. Channel View contains your individual channel's settings (volume, pan, treble, bass, and effects); Mix View displays the volume level of every channel in your mix. And Names View shows you each channel name, along with your volume level. You can create custom names for each channel, or sync them to the channel names on your Dante network (D800-Dante A-Net Distributor required).

No-compromise mix engine

The Aviom A640's no-compromise, 36-channel mix engine lets you choose exactly which channels you need. You can select the sources you want in your mix, from up to 64 network channels, and the Channel Mapping function makes it easy to set up and customize. Each of this Personal Mixer's channels can accommodate a stereo source, enabling you to hear every input can be heard in full stereo without taking up additional channels, and you can pan it anywhere while preserving its stereo image. You also get a Favorite function that reserves prime real estate for each performer's most important channel — no more futzing around searching for that one vital mix element in the heat of a performance!

Killer in-ear monitor mixes

In using the A640, poor sound will never be an issue. Its built-in EQ curves are tailor-made for in-ear monitors, and its Bass, Treble, and Enhance controls make customizing your sound a piece of cake. You also get per-channel reverb, high-resolution panning for mono channels, and variable pan for stereo channels, yielding you a spacious, natural-sounding mix that's guaranteed to inspire. You can also add a sense of realism to your monitor mix with the One-Touch Ambiance control. With the A640 Personal Mixer, you'll never suffer from "in-ear isolation syndrome" ever again.
