Versatile modulation section
Despite its compact design, the Leipzig V3 sports robust modulation capabilities. The modulation section includes three destinations (VCO1 pitch, VCO2 pitch, and filter cutoff), each with four selectable sources. Modulate all three parameters with an onboard LFO with triangle and pulse waveforms. Assign the envelope generators 1 and 2 to affect the pitch of VCO1 and VCO2, respectively. Modulate the pitch of VCO1 with VCO2 — a great feature for animating hard sync sounds. Or, set VCO2’s pitch mod to respond to keyboard velocity. To modulate the filter cutoff, the Leipzig V3 supplies VCO1 and keyboard velocity as sources, on top of the LFOs. That’s a substantial slice of modulation in a small desktop package!
