Boost switch and "shape-shifter" control for aggressive tones
Tech 21 has loaded the MP40 Limited Edition with two new features to better capture Geddy’s signature tone: a selectable boost switch and the mysterious "shape-shifter" knob. The former delivers a 12dB presence boost that perfectly matches Geddy’s top-end heavy overdriven Moving Pictures era sound. However, the “shape-shifter” knob offers 6dB of Schmegilka on top – a term that Geddy will only describe as “an indefinable thing of awesomeness”...who are we to question Geddy Lee, anyway?

2021 marks the 40 year anniversary of the breakthrough Rush album Moving Pictures. It's the album that introduced the world to the now legendary tracks YYZ, Limelight, and of course, Tom Sawyer.
